In a futuristic city suspended above the ground called Metro City, Dr. Elefun is nearing a breakthrough technology in making a peace keeping robot but things go wrong when he uses the "red core" to power up the robot and claims the life of his only son. In his sadness and depression he creates a robot clone of his son using the "blue core" to power him up, thus Astro Boy is born. When President Stone found out about this he got power hungry and orders his men to capture Astro Boy. Will Astro Boy and Dr. Elefun escape the clutches of President Stone?
