Napoleon Dynamite

A nerdy and unpopular kid name Napoleon Dynamite who lives with his grandmother and his nerdy brother Kip tries to make it "big" in school by being popular. His chance came though when he got to be friends with a Mexican kid named Pedro, a new kid in school. Pedro then decides to run for school president and Napoleon helps him in his campaign and eventually gets the chance to redeem himself of being nerdy and unpopular.
